In 2012, I came into contact with two of the world's coolest female directors, namely Heidi Moore and Cassandra Sechler (Unfortunately, I've not seen your movie Deadly Doll yet, but I'm still waiting for an ex to buy from you Heidi, haha) . This was after I discovered Heidi's film company Wretched Productions and later she sent one of her first productions to me: Boyfriend - "Hell hat no fury like a wo-man scorned"

This is a shortie about a bitchy girl who's tired of her nerdy boyfriend. One day when he gets home from work, he gives her a bouquet of flowers and tries to radiate his love for her. This goes on her nerves so she decides to poison him with an ignorant domestic science dynamics mixed with some chemical birth control pills. But what she doesn't know is that the hormones in the pill transform her boyfriend into a sadistic and revengeful drag-queen that relocates the home to her right position and it all ends in a surreal nightmare.

I'm sure that this is one of the strangest movies I've ever seen. Boyfriend begins as a simple stereotypical comedy and makes some kind of parody on TV shows in the style of "Beauty and the Geek." But in the law of justice, the whole concept is transformed and in this case it is the geek that gives revansh for all the humiliation he has met. This is obviously excreted in a very strange and surreal vision and what we will see is something out of the ordinary and thats for sure.

Boyfriend is a fantastic fun experience and the team hasn't saved anything based on their thoughts, structures and ideas. I've probably seen the movie at least seven times since I got it and I still love every second of it. This is a further proof that as long as you have enough funny humor and a good imagination, movies don't need to contribute with any bigger budget.
