The crazy Canadian director Ryan Nicholson (Hanger, Gutterballs, Famine) is up with a brand new extreme-flick namned "Collar" who reaches its release on November 18th from Unearthed Films and Plotdigger Films. One year has past by since Nicholson gave us the gruesome "Dead Nude Girls" and finally he is back with a satanic bloodsheed.

"A rookie cop (Murdock) starts her shift like any other, but soon it will all change for the worse. A derelict with a reputation of satanic violence (Principe) attacks the officer and collars her with a dog leash, which is just the start of his abusive ritual."

Shot on location in Vancouver, BC, the film features a heavy assortment of gruesome FX makeup design by Michelle Grady, who previously collaborated with Nicholson on Gutterballs, Hanger, and Famine; it was lensed by Wolfgang Meyer and has the most locations, effects, and setups attempted so far by Nicholson in his full and varied career.

Collar stars Nick Principe (Laid to Rest 1 and 2, Seed 2: The New Breed), Mackenzie Murdock (Father’s Day, Manborg), Ronald Thompson (Hanger), Aidan Dee (“Caprica,” A Dangerous Man), Momona Komagata, Wolfgang Meyer, and Mihola Terzik (Gutterballs).

The key art is made by the swedish designer Marcus Freij on http://www.grafiskdesigner.nu/ and the soundtrack is made by Protector 101.
